    35歲的Phillips過去曾和紅人簽下一筆6年7,250萬美元的合約，今年是合約的最後一年，預計他將能領到1400萬美元。他上賽季出戰141場比賽，繳出.291 / .320 / .416的打擊三圍，有11轟、以及64分打點的成績，仍具有一定水準，不過這名老將顯然已經不在球隊未來的藍圖當中。
